The priority for living creature starts with me, myself, and then extends to family, society, nature and then becomes global, if at all. The role of aham (my self) plays vital role in establishing the character of a creature much before the circumstances/surroundings influencing the formation of behavior. Whole logic of “behavior” camouflaging one’s basic character and moulding the creature to act to the needs and requirements of the society is pivoted around the feeling called aham.
